Crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, 2-component epoxy resin
- DIPOXY-2K-700 -

DIPOXY-2K-700 is a crystal-clear, low-viscosity epoxy resin (2 components) that is produced and sold by us exclusively
in "premium quality"!
DIPOXY-2K-700 epoxy resin is ideal for almost any application! For example: jewelry making, table manufacturing (so-called "river tables"), floors, pond/aquarium/terrarium construction, as well as boat, ship and aircraft building. Molded parts can also be cast in silicone molds, and carbon/aramid/glass fiber composites are possible as well. Also perfectly suitable for model making!

Simply select the desired amount of epoxy resin and add it to your cart. Then select the color pigments and add them to your cart as well.

The best results are achieved with our effect pigments developed specifically for epoxy resins!
We have the right style and matching colors for every application.
Whether powder or liquid, fine or coarse, clear, cloudy or milky, subtle pearl, metallic, or with glitter effect.
Here in our shop, everyone can find something to match their individual taste!

The solvent-free DIPOXY-2K-700 is mixed at a ratio of 2:1 by mass (by weight) (e.g., 100 g A and 50 g B), making it easy to process. Ideally, components A and B should be mixed at a temperature of 10°C - 30°C.
Although DIPOXY-2K-700 is generally self-degassing, for best results we still recommend stirring at approx. 250-350 rpm for about 4-5 minutes until both components are well mixed—at this low speed, less air is introduced into the epoxy mixture.

! Caution: risk of overheating !
As soon as both components are mixed, a chemical reaction starts and heat is released. Depending on how tall the mixture sits in a cup or bucket, the heat may not dissipate quickly enough through the surface. The rule is: "better wide and flat than tall and narrow!" For example, if 300 ml of mixture stands still in a cup at about 15 cm height, it will likely become so hot (depending on ambient temperature) after 15-25 minutes that you could burn yourself—and then it will cure immediately. If you pour the same mixture into a bucket so it’s only 1 cm high, it won’t get hot and you can probably still work with it after 60 minutes.

Depending on how thin or thick you want to apply the Dipoxy-2K-700 epoxy resin mixture, you will need different amounts of colorant.
The highest opacity is achieved with our liquid color concentrates without effects. They are also the most cost-effective option for tinting epoxy resin and other materials.
When tinting an epoxy primer, it usually makes no sense to use effect pigments, since you won’t see this layer later anyway.
For primers, the pigment proportion is usually chosen quite high because the layer is very thin and maximum opacity is desired—except, for example, with exposed concrete or wooden floors, where pigments are often not added to the epoxy resin.
For the middle epoxy layer, it depends on which effects you want to achieve, whether you want a color gradient, and whether the layer underneath (for multiple middle layers) should remain visible or not.

Depending on what you want to do, the information below from our tests may help you. Of course, you can also use more material!
