Crystal-clear scratch-resistant 2-component epoxy resin
Finally it's here!
In response to popular demand, we have now made our 1:1 thick epoxy resin (0.1-10cm at a time), from our US subsidiary, available to retailers in Germany!
The best performance, with the best UV protection!
- DIPOXY-2K-1:1 Diamond -

DIPOXY-2K-1:1-Diamond (viscosity 4000; Shore value approx. 72) is a crystal-clear, medium-viscosity epoxy resin (2 components) and is manufactured and distributed by us exclusively in "premium quality"!
Due to its thicker viscosity, it is ideal for designing art objects and for so-called "doming". This is the final layer on the finished workpiece. It is more scratch-resistant and covers any scratches from sanding! However, our DIPOXY-2K-1:1-Diamond is also ideal for almost any other application! For example: in the jewellery sector, furniture or table production, so-called "River Table", for effects in floors and on walls, in pond, aquarium and terrarium construction, as well as for boat, ship and aircraft construction. Moulded parts and decorations in silicone PP or PS moulds can also be cast in thin or thick layers (e.g.: 10cm x 10cm) without any problems. It is also suitable for carbon, aramid and glass fibre compounds, but it is better to use our DIPOXY-2K-700, as it has a lower viscosity and can therefore better enclose the fibres. DIPOXY-2K-1:1-Diamond is ideally suited for modelling! The best results are achieved with our effect colours, pigments, alcohol-INK's and other additives developed for epoxy resins!

Simply select the desired quantity of epoxy resin and add it to the shopping basket. Then select the colour pigments and add them to the shopping cart.
(In the picture above, you can see the Dipoxy-2K-1:1 Diamond epoxy resin with the colourant: Alcohol-INK, River Blue)

The best results are achieved with our effect pigments developed for epoxy resins!
We have the right style and the right colours for every application.
Whether as a powder or liquid, in fine or coarse, clear, cloudy or milky, subtle as pearl, metallic or with a glitter effect.
Here in our shop, everyone will find something to suit their individual taste!

DIPOXY-2K-1:1-Diamond is a thicker epoxy resin in a simple 1:1 mixing ratio which is mixed by volume without a scale. FOR EXAMPLE: Mix one cup A (300ml) with one cup B (300ml) together at a temperature of 10°C-30°C. Although DIPOXY-2K-1:1-Diamond is basically self-deaerating, for best results, care should be taken to stir at a maximum of 250-350 rpm for approx. 4-5 minutes until both components are well mixed! An additional UV absorber is possible, but not recommended, as we have already added the maximum quantity here!

! Caution: Danger of overheating !
As soon as the two components are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs which releases heat. Depending on how high the mixture is in a cup or bucket, the heat cannot be dissipated quickly enough through the surface. The rule therefore always applies: "Better wide and flat than high and narrow!" If, for example, a mixture of 300ml stands still in a cup about 15cm high, it will probably get so hot after 15-25 minutes (depending on the outside temperature) that you can burn yourself and then it hardens immediately! However, if you fill the same mixture into a bucket and it is only 1cm high, it will not get hot and you can probably still work with it in 60 minutes!
Depending on how thin or thick the epoxy resin mixture is to be applied, you will need different quantities of colourant.
You get the highest opacity with our liquid colour concentrates, which are without effect. They are also the cheapest alternative to colouring epoxy resin and other materials.
When colouring an epoxy primer, it generally makes no sense to use an epoxy effect pigment, as this layer will not be visible later anyway.
The proportion of epoxy resin colour pigment in a primer is usually very high, as this layer is very thin and you want to achieve maximum coverage. Except, for example, with exposed concrete or wooden flooring, where no pigments are usually added to the epoxy resins.
With the middle epoxy resin layer, it depends on what effects you want to achieve, whether there should be a colour gradient and whether you want the layer underneath (with several middle layers) to be visible or not.

Depending on what you want to do, the following information from our tests will help you. Of course you can also use more material!
All information is without guarantee!
The rule for the required quantity is:
1L = 1mm height per 1m² (1m x 1m)

Quantities required for the casting projects (river table, geodes, ART):
DIPOXY-2K-1:1-Diamond:
Colour paste (liquid colour concentrate): 4% - 5% of the total volume (A+B mixed) (never more than 10%!)
Pearl pigments (powder): 25g - 50g per litre of the total volume (A+B mixed) (more is possible, e.g. for thickening lines!)
Glitter: Almost any amount is possible!
Alcohol-INK (Tint's): 1ml - 10ml per litre of the total volume (A+B mixed) (more is possible)

Processing time/drip time (pot life)
at 10°C approx. 40-60min.
at 20°C approx. 20-40min.
at 30°C approx. 10-25min.
below 10°C and above 30°C processing is possible, but without time specifications!
