DIPOXY-2K-700Expert is a crystal-clear, low-viscosity epoxy resin and is manufactured and sold by us exclusively in "premium quality"!
DIPOXY is ideal for almost any application! For example: jewelry, table making (so-called "river tables"), floors, ponds, aquariums and terrariums, as well as boat, ship and aircraft construction. Molded parts can also be cast in silicone molds, and carbon, aramid and fiberglass composites are possible too. Also perfectly suitable for model making! The best results are achieved with our effect pearl color pigments developed for epoxy resins!
 
The solvent-free DIPOXY-2K-700Expert is mixed at a ratio of 100:45 (e.g., 100 g A and 45 g B) parts by mass (by weight), making it easy to process.
Ideally, components A and B are mixed at a temperature of 10°C - 25°C. Although it is generally self-degassing, for best results you should still ensure mixing at a maximum of 250 - 350 rpm for about 4 - 5 minutes until both components are thoroughly combined!
DIPOXY-2K-700EXPERT was specially developed for thick-layer applications up to 15 cm.
With this resin, for example, almost all "river tables" can easily be produced in a single pour! The curing time is significantly longer than with our DIPOXY-2K-700 and also the DIPOXY-2K-700PRO, because we greatly reduced the exothermic reaction to achieve this extreme layer thickness. How high you can actually pour always depends on the ambient temperature and on the width and length of the pour. For example: 6 cm high, 20 - 25 cm wide and 250 cm long at a temperature of 15°C worked very well in one single pour as a test!
It is recommended to always do a test pour before the carefully prepared workpiece has to be discarded in the end!
Simply select the desired amount of epoxy resin and add it to the cart.
Then select the color pigments and add them to the cart as well.

The best results are achieved with our effect pearl color pigments developed for epoxy resins!
! Warning: Overheating hazard !
As soon as both components are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs that releases heat. Depending on how high the mixture stands in a cup or bucket, the heat may not be dissipated quickly enough through the surface. The rule is always: "better wide and shallow than tall and narrow!" Depending on what you want to do, the following values from our tests can help you. Of course, you can also use more material!

The rough rule of thumb for consumption is:
1 kg = 1 mm thickness per 1 m² (1 m x 1 m)
Consumption quantities of DIPOXY-2K-700EXPERT for casting projects (river table):
Primer (usually transparent)
0.2 - 0.4 kg per m² (0.2 - 0.4 mm per m²)
Color effect layer (middle layer)
10 - 11 kg per m² (approx. 1 cm per m²)
Seal coat (final layer is not necessarily required)
1 - 2 kg per m² (1 - 2 mm per m²)
Consumption of effect pearl pigment for casting projects (river table):
Depending on how transparent everything should be, you need between 0.5 g and 15 g of pigments per kg of epoxy mass (by weight).
Working time / drip time (pot life)
at 10°C approx. 8-20 hours.
at 20°C approx. 6-14 hours.
at 30°C approx. 4-10 hours.
above 30°C is possible, but without time specifications!
Final strength:
at 10°C at least 10-14 days before walking on it and 4 weeks before heavy loads.
at 20°C at least 4-10 days before walking on it and 3 weeks before heavy loads.
at 30°C at least 3-4 days before walking on it and 1-2 weeks before heavy loads.
Storage:
1 year / Ideal at 10-25°C, dry and protected from direct sunlight!
